Partner Profile: Centre for Internet Technologies

Part of the University of Sunderland, the Centre for Internet Technologies (CIT) is a research group of the School of Computing and Technology.

Based at the award-winning St. Peter's riverside campus, which boasts one of the most modern and best equipped computing environments in the UK, CIT conduct research and development work into a wide range of internet technologies.

CIT is actively involved in standardisation at a European level via the work of the CEN/ISSS workshop: eBusiness Board for European Standardisation.

Role in STASIS

CIT is the project dissemination lead, and is the STASIS standardisation liaison. They will also:-

  • Provide public and private web site
  • Development of project components in ASP.NET
  • Represent the STASIS project in the European standards forum
