STASIS powers to success at Silverstone

University of Sunderland's racing car

Posted: 20th August 2008

STASIS would like to congratulate the University of Sunderland's Formula Student 2008 racing team on their excellent performance at Formula Student 2008. The competition was held at Silverstone in the UK last month and is an event for students to design, build and compete with other small Formula style racing cars from around the world.

The University of Sunderland car, which was proudly sponsored by STASIS, finished seventh in its class and the team gained more points than ever before.

STASIS has strong automotive links and will be piloted in this sector by project partners ZF and Beiqi Foton upon completion of the STASIS Desktop Workbench software later this year.
