Final Review Success

Final STASIS Review

Posted: 11th November 2009

The final STASIS project review took place in Amsterdam on November 9th.

We are delighted to report that all outstanding deliverables were approved.

During the review, a comprehensive demonstration of the STASIS Workbench mapping software was given by users, highlighting the entire process of two unconnected organisations trading business information electronically. The demonstration was well-received by the reviewers and illustrated the power of the software and validity of the STASIS concept.

STASIS is delighted to announce the release of the final prototype version of the STASIS Workbench semantic mapping software. It incorporates many enhancements and refinements since the public beta was released in June, including:

  • Simplified wizard allowing schemas in STASIS Neutral Format to be more easily compared
  • Intuitive linking of semantic assets from different schemas
  • Enhanced mapping tool, allowing mappings from Excel to XML and XML to RDB schemas to be tested
  • Improved auto-layout of schemas and semantic assets
  • Upgraded P2P semantic repository

The software is available under LGPL from the downloads section.
